Agatti

Dear Eli,   

I am now in Agatti . I think it's 20 days since I came to Agatti
 .What I want to tell about Agatti is it's good  - I will explain now . Agatti is 7 km long .It has
 four beaches , east , west , south and north .  i will explain all the sides first the north .
north , in the north the main  thing is the north beach . it is great . there is asmall shop
. we can buy cakes , tea ,samosas , etc .  There are several benches . we can sit there .
 There are bushes , statues ,foot ball courts  etc .After siting some time and seeing the
beach [ and may i warn you never go into the sea there it is a little deep ] walk to the
right we can reach  the tip and turn to the east . then a thing we can see is the control
tower we can see north beach from there . and another thing is when we   go to the tip
be care ful of crabs .Bangheram is also in the north . we  can go there by motor boat from
 North beach . i have not gone to Bangharam . i hope i will go there .

Now the south.
 South , what about south , uh ? oh yes !Air port is there , the hatchery is a good place. but
 A little boring too .I dont now if it is my  thought only. But you have to go and enjoy it .
 we can see different fishes there . we can see how they grow fishes to be sold . If we want
 buy that fish we have put them sea water . Then there is sports the main thing . It is
super . ther is Glass boat sailing , squba diving , kayaking , visit to kalpithi etx .  we went for
glass boating . we can sea the under water every clearly thruogh under the boat . we can
sea all the corals. it is super . ther are big corals,small ones , creepy ones , lowely ones
and so on . there is a special  fish called honey moon fish . it is beautiful .
and may i
warn you if you sit near  the diesel engine you may vomit . so try to be away from it
especialy kids . i vomited when i sat near it . then we can bath there in the sea i  also
went for kayaking . it is also super . if you or anyone else  with know how to row there is
 no problem but otherwise ask them what to do . and when you go for glass boating ask the
 man in the boat if you have any douts about corals . i have only did these two there . and
 after you bath in the sea you can change dress in bathroom there is a bath room there .
 and if we walk to the left there is a small jetti you can walk over there .but be carefuul
one step is missing in the stairs and there is no rails at the tip .only that of south . now
the west . west . first of all most of west is local beach you can go there and sit simpley to
 see the sun set in the evening.we can sea small crabs there . then another jetti is there
near the local beach .  and we can see kalpithi from there i tink only that much . and for
 east i think only a jetti . but that is somthing to see it is super .you can see sea turtles if
 you have luck . i saw one . then it iss very windy .it is super. i think only that much . now
i will say what is inside the island there are several shops big and small . first of all you
have to reach the dak house and near the dak there is a public library . there are english
, hindi malayalam novals , books , plays etx. then there is a museum . i dont know where
is it . you have to ask some locals . or the librariam beacause i think it is near the library
 . then if we walk opposite the librarywe can see shops ,then amrita hospital it is a nice
 hospital. then there are so many shops , there are no medical shops you have to take
 medicine from hospital . and there are only Muslims there and also there mosques .

quick facts
----------
1) Agathi and it's people are very concerned about clothing . so you have to dress properly .
2) Vegies are only available when ship comes . so you have to book for vegies before ship comes.
3) be careful of crabs .
4) you want permission to visit islands.
5)you have to take some one who have experiance when you go to kalpithi .
6) you can cross to kalpithi by walking fram agatti's south tip but there is a time the water lowers
and a time when it rises to two peoples height .
so it is risky . better take a boat . two doctors died there .
7)kalpithi is super you have to visit there.

and Kalpithi is super . i am not telling much . you have to go and see it . icame here with
 my mother , father and sister . and may i warn you i am only 11. so enjoy your trip . good
